Turning Accidents at Intersections in Kansas
Intersection-related crashes are among the most common types of roadway collisions. According to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), nearly 40% of all traffic accidents in the United States occur at intersections. Many of these result from unsafe turns, failure to yield, or driver misjudgment. In Kansas, crashes at intersections frequently lead to serious injuries because of the angle of impact, which often affects the driver’s or passenger’s side of a vehicle. These accidents highlight the importance of exercising extra caution when turning, especially on highways where vehicles travel at higher speeds.
