Offerle, KS (March 5, 2024) – On Monday, March 4, two men were injured following a car accident in the Offerle area. The collision occurred at the 200 block of L Road early that morning at around 8:30 a.m. Local reports indicated that a 2003 Buick Century was headed westbound when it left the road.
The vehicle continued in the ditch for nearly 340 feet where it crossed a fence line, entered a field, and struck a nearby embankment. Emergency responders were sent to the scene to render the necessary medical aid The driver and a passenger in the vehicle were later transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver and passenger were later identified as 61-year-old Thierry F. Felkins and 87-year-old Lemfo F. Felkins, both of Offerle. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be released as it continues.
