Overland Park, KS (March 22, 2024) – Two people were hurt after a vehicle collision in the Overland Park area on Thursday night, March 21. The accident was reported that night at around 9:20 p.m. on Interstate 35 SB near US-69. A 2009 Ford driven by 22-year-old Adiedra J. Cullors of Olathe was traveling southbound in the far lane when the driver swerved to avoid another vehicle.
The Ford braked and spun to the right where it sideswiped a 2018 Chevrolet driven by 18-year-old Javierre O. Robinson of Kansas City, MO. Both vehicles came to a stop on the right shoulder. Robinson and his passenger, 18-year-old Ny Riel N. Jones also of Kansas City, MO, was transported to AdventHealth Hospital for treatment. At this time, no additional information on the collision is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
