Olathe, KS (March 9, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a car crash in the Olathe area on Friday afternoon, March 8. The accident occurred on W. 135th Street at around 3:27 p.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties.
The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. The injured parties were provided immediate aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. Those requiring further support were later hospitalized by ambulance.
The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and reopen the road to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
