Overland Park, KS (September 5, 2024) – At least one person was hurt after a car crash in the Overland Park area on Wednesday, September 4. The collision occurred at the corner of W. 131st Street and Antioch Road early that morning around 8:08 a.m. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined.
Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further support were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while authorities worked to clear the scene. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
