The crash occurred on K-10 WB near mile marker mile marker 34.5 in Johnson County that afternoon, around 1:53 p.m. Local reports indicated that a 2015 Audi A3 and a 2023 Hyundai Elantra were both traveling westbound in the second lane leading up to the crash.

Baalman, also from Olathe. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties.
