Overland Park, KS (May 25, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries in the aftermath of a car accident in the Overland Park area on Friday, May 24. The accident was reported around 10:01 a.m. at the intersection of W. 137th Street and Antioch Road. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined.
The injured parties were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. Those requiring further support were later transferred to a local hospital for additional support. At this time, the circumstances leading to the accident have not yet been provided. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were quickly dispatched to clear the scene and reopen the road to outside traffic.
