Wichita, KS (September 11, 2024) – Two people were injured after a rear-end collision in the Wichita area on Tuesday, September 10. The accident took place at the K-96 and I-135 interchange early that morning around 8:50 a.m. Local reports revealed that a 2016 Chevrolet Trax was traveling westbound on the highway behind a 2007 Toyota Camry.
For unknown reasons, the driver of the Trax, 20-year-old Vincent James Granger of Park City, crashed into the rear of the Camry. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary medical aid. The driver of the Toyota, 20-year-old Lakisha Iyana Elizabeth Coleman of Wichita, and her passenger, 22-year-old Dezire Lauryn Miller of Wichita, were injured in the impact. Both parties were transported by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital for treatment. No updates on the crash are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
